Frequently Asked Questions

Is food provided?

It is important to bring your dog’s usual food. We always try to keep your pup as comfortable and as stress free as possible. Changing diet can be hard on their digestive system. Please bring a full supply of food for your dog’s entire stay. If we happen to run out we will supplement with Diamond brand food.

What optional items can I bring?

  • An item that smells like you

  • Extra toy (know this may not make it back home)

  • Leash and whatever you normally walk your dog on (ex. gentle leader, harness, martingale collar)

  • E- collar for off leash

  • Allergy specific treats

  • Specific shampoo for exit bath

While your pup is in our care we provide:

  • All bedding and crates

  • Bowls, including slow feeders

  • Washable chew toys

  • Endless love!

Can we schedule a Meet and Greet?

Absolutely! We love to meet with anyone that is interested in how we do things at The Rustic Dog Inn. We encourage you to come and see our kennel home and bring your dog for us to meet! Just use our “Contact” page to let us know you are interested and we will get back to you to arrange a day and time.

Will my dog come home clean?

Each pup will receive a complimentary exit bath before going home the day of pick up or the night before.

Why am I asked to arrange a specific pick up and drop off time?

Our boarding and training facility is set up in a very unique way. We have a cozy home like setting to keep our guests as comfortable as possible. Unexpected guests can interrupt the structure of our daily routine. When you book with us we will discuss a drop off and pick up time that works for you!

Please text us at 971-678-9201 when you arrive at our gate. If you are running late it is important that you let us know as soon as possible. We truly thank you for understanding our policy!
